Swatch has worked with leading international artists ever since the first Swatch watches were launched in the early 1980s. Swatch is equally committed to supporting emerging artists and encourages them to explore new mediums. Accordingly, Swatch commissioned two young artists, Monika Jelinska and Ryan Grees, to create Gent Originals for the SWATCH & ART Collection. Both artists are past winners of the SWATCH MTV PLAYGROUND competition.
